Psychologist Natasha Briffa Speaks On What Borderline Personality Disorder Is & Ways To Treat It
My guest today, Natasha Briffa is an APHRA Registered Psychologist who specializes in working with individuals living with borderline personality disorder (BPD). She also has an interest in working with individuals who have complex trauma and eating disorders. Natasha has primarily worked in the public mental health service and NGO sector with adults and adolescents, and currently works in private practice.
In this episode, Natasha shares the meaning of Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), the different features of BPD, symptoms for people struggling with mental health challenges that need help in an emergency department, and how acceptance of mental health struggles help in recovery. She also talks about other mental health challenges that are associated with Borderline Personality Disorder.
