World Mental Health Day is an opportunity to raise awareness about mental health issues and promote mental well-being. It is a reminder that we all have the potential to experience more good days and fewer difficult ones, if we take positive action.

World Mental Health Day is an opportunity to raise awareness about mental health issues and promote mental well-being.

ACTIONS THAT CAN MAKE A POSITIVE IMPACT TODAY:

1: BE A LEGEND, START A CONVERSATION

Pick up the phone, send a text message, hit them up on their socials, open up a conversation with your colleague next to you. whatever it takes, do your best to connect with people today.

2: EDUCATE YOURSELF

Take some time to learn about mental health issues, their impact, and the available resources for support. Understanding mental health better helps reduce stigma and empowers you to provide meaningful support to those in need.

3: PRIORITISE SELF-CARE

Take time for yourself. Make self-care a priority. Hit the gym, meditate, dive into your hobbies, or just take a breather. Your mental health matters.

4: SHARE YOUR PERSONAL STORY

Being brave enough to share your own stories and challenges can help reduce stigma and can foster a sense of connection and support. Nudge others to do the same.

5: ENCOURAGE YOUR MATES TO TAKE CARE OF THEMSELVES

Encouraging your mates to take care of themselves is super important because it can promote a culture of support and openness around mental health. It reminds them that their well-being matters. This support can be a lifeline for someone who may be silently struggling.

6: SEEL PROFESSIONAL HELP

Professional support can make a significant difference in managing and overcoming mental health challenges, providing the best chance for recovery and long-term well-being.
