National Volunteer Week (NVW) – 16 – 22 May 2022
National Volunteer Week (NVW) is Australia’s largest annual celebration of volunteering and will be held on 16 – 22 May 2022.
The theme for National Volunteer Week 2022 is Better Together.
Volunteering brings people together; it builds communities and creates a better society for everyone.
National Volunteer Week is a chance for all of us to celebrate and recognise the vital work of volunteers and to say thank you.
Together, through volunteering, we are changing communities for the better. We are, Better Together.
Volunteering for LIVIN:
Volunteers are responsible for countless community initiatives, support groups and are even the reason that many charity organisations are able to operate and do incredible work for the community.
LIVIN is one such charity organisation that highlights how the support of volunteers and community plays a key role in the growth and spread of an important message – landing on ears and helping the people that need to hear it.
Every volunteer will be offered our new online Mental Health Awareness training, free of charge, so you are well equipped to look after yourself and those you may speak to. A discount code will be supplied once you register to volunteer.

LIVIN Volunteer Testimonials
Blake Connor
LIVIN’s brand & resources truly helped me at a time in need and showed me that ‘It ain’t weak to speak’. Volunteering with LIVIN allows me to proactively support their cause that supported me, by helping drive change and create empowering conversations about mental health.
Ivana-Leigh Tomkins
I love volunteering for LIVIN as it’s my way of giving back to the organisation that has saved my life. They shine a light on mental illness and take away the taboo by spreading the message that it ain’t weak to speak.

I’ve been proudly volunteering and flying the LIVIN flag for the past 18 months now. My fundraisers have been a productive and powerful way to deal with my own grief & loss, harbor closer relationships with my circle, and to easily voice a message that needs to be frequently heard. There is genuine care, a listening ear & great heart behind anyone who wears these shirts, hats, or bumper stickers and I’m proud to be one of them.
